Summary of Defect:

SARPs Section 2.3.7.3.11.8.5 specifies the actions the CPDLC-user should perform when he receives a CPDLC message in response to a CPDLC message he has previously sent with an N response attribute and with no LACK request. 

This case is meaningless since when a CPDLC message is sent with an N attribute, the message identification number assigned to this message is freed by the message initiator. Thus, it is impossible later on upon receipt of a response message to relate it to the initial message.

If not removed, the CPDLC SARPs can not be implemented in full. The requirement is inconsistent with table 2.3.7-3.
