Not stopping the timer on receipt of a D-END cnf positive or an abort indication doesn't matter since the ASE invocation is killed anyway. In case of the D-END cnf negative, the timer will elapse and cause a false abort situation. The behaviour of the ASE is improved but this does not impact the interoperability.
