A protocol error should be indicated to the FIS-air-user. Proposed modification: 1/ In section 2.4.5.3.12.11.1, replace: If in the LI-DIALOGUE state, the LI ground module shall: by: If in the LI-DIALOGUE state and if there is no FIS contract in place, the LI ground module shall: 2 /In Table 2.4.5-10/b, replace cell (D-END ind,LI-DIALOGUE) D-END rsp positive -> LI-DLE by: If no FIS contract D-END rsp positive -> LI-IDLE else AB-abort ("protocol error") -> LI-DIALOGUE Impact on interoperability: None. The FIS-air-ASE is now able to detect another situation of protocol violation by the FIS-ground-ASE. If this PDR's resolution is not implemented, the dialogue is terminated normally despite the presence of a FIS contract.
